Bill board posters may be unsightly but they are not against the law. Graffiti is.

With regard to the Telegraph, they are hardly likely to want you to post the link to this Forum in there. It is probably one of their Terms and Conditions not to pink links to other Forums.

I have no idea, KM. I did ask her but she hasn't replied yet. For some reason I thought she was in the UK!

yes, she lives in Germany.

Bearhugger wrote me a message. (His name is Michael) But I can't reply cause I don't want to subscribe. And the Telegraph does always delete my messages to him, I was writing at my profile. That's so sad, isn't it?

I made a tiny English-text today and I got 54 of 60 points. I'm great, am I? :-)
But there were stupid questions. For instance, if somebody does apologize for barging against me in the tube. What do I reply?
I have no idea. I choose "That's okay." But that's surely not right. What are you saying in such a moment?

There are some workers around my house making the greens. One of them is also very cute. I would like invite him for a cup of tea. But I don't even know his name and whether he is married already. All we were talking so far was "hello".
Any suggestions what to do?

Is he wearing a wedding ring? Why don't you invite them all in and take it from there?

To look whether he wears a wedding ring - that's a good idea. But some guys have just a girlfriend or don't wear the ring. So, this indication is not absolutely clear. And I don't want to invite them all.

Maybe I should go down to where they're working and just talk a little bit. Maybe to ask some stupid question. How long the works will need. How the paths will be plastered. Which plants will be there. Such things.

I suppose his name is Sebastian. Sounds good.

@ Kev
why do you ask? it's Germany.

I want to visit Bristol any day.

And if you want to you may visit my town too. But I'm afraid you would be disappointed. We have not even an ocean. Only a tiny river. There are only 2 pubs worth to drink a glass there. One of them is an Irish pub. Or are you interested in museums? Then is Weimar not bad, but not overwhelming. Really nothing special.
