We all have to survive here. To be honest, I can't name many nice areas to live in Bristol.

Avoid Redfield too at night. Definitely do not look at any flats on Fishponds Road between Eastville Park and Stapleton Road. This stretch of the road is easily accessible from the motorway for the Kerb Crawlers to pick up their bit of stuff on Fishponds Road! And Warwick Road too!

OMG, I could be here all day naming roads to avoid!

Sounds like there are plenty of dodgy areas, thanks everyone for posting them I will be sure to avoid them at all costs!

Its true that everywhere has its rough areas, but I thought Bristol had less rough areas than this!

On TV was a report about the Isles of Scilly today. There is a souvenir-shop where you can take your postcard or whatever, then put the money on the table and take the change. Without the seller.
Moreover, people don't need keys cause there are no thieves.

The small British islands are a better place to live than the big cities.

Better planing would create few chances for drink related crimes.Nice Adult wine bars selling food create the setting. Not Quick buck night clubs with thugs on the door.It is all about fast returns and not long term gain.

I remember in the 60's I had a night job and used to get picked up in the centre about 2.30 am, there were couples walking around looking in shop windows etc, never any trouble.
